Bead Making

 

I like to make paper and clay beads. The paper beads, in particular, are really time consuming. But making my own beads gives me complete control over quality and color. It also allows me to make jewelry that is truly original and "one of a kind" as shown in the sample below.

 Don't want to go on a rant but ... the sunflower I posted a few days ago is a clip from an original art piece by me titled "Sunshine." I love that people have shared it on Facebook in support of Ukraine. However, I do object to people selling prints of it for profit. Just Couldn't Let It Bee

 The "Bee Box" that is.  I started this project back in the Spring when the Covid 19 pandemic began. It was my Quarantine Project and is a tribute to bees, thus the name "The Bee Box."  Little did I know then, there would be a second quarantine and that my husband would have knee surgery.  So I had a lot more time at home.

I promise this is the final chapter for the "Bee Box".
