Original Ink Drawings
I probably did somewhere around 150 of these types of finely detailed ink drawings between 1971 and 1975 when I was living in Memphis, Tennessee. They ranged in size from 8x10 to about 32 x 40. These would have been signed in my maiden name, Lee Peddy.
Unfortunately, I only have copies of three of these earlier works ~ Stalking Leopard, Hiding Tiger, and Cranes. The rest were sold and some of the earlier ones were sold out in limited edition prints.
Ink drawings shown here are also available as limited editions with a cap of 250.
In the "old days" I tinted some of these using silk screening techniques. New technology - computers - has made this a little easier to do with more brilliant colors and more subtle gradients.
