"Jessica - Dancing In The Shadows" was commissioned by a friend who had this old photo of her little girl. The photo had been hanging on a bulletin board for many years. It was scratched and discolored. She asked me to do something special with it and this is what I came up with.
This vineyard was certainly a challenge. It was also commissioned by Jane Sinnema for her parents. As you can see by the original photo below, it was not commissioned until after the grapes were picked. So Jane and I worked a lot together at getting the right kinds of grapes and getting enough grapes to make the image look fairly realistic. It was well worth all the work and I hope her family gets many years of pleasure from it.
