Boats One of my favorite subjects. There's something dreamy about boats. They make me think about adventures, fun and faraway places - or sometimes just down the river. I think about the smell of fresh water and the breeze in my face. I like all the lines and little details that make up boats played against the softness of water. Some of the images here are from origininal photographs I took just down the road in the marina at Paris Landing State Park. They all have a painterly effect to them created from layers and layers of photo manipulation, textures, etc. Scroll down the page to see more boats. I hope you enjoy the tour. The Enola at Paris Landing The Enola was parked in the visitor section of the marina for most of the summer of 2006. It caught at lot of attention. A beautiful boat! |

I like this boat so much I did it three different ways. Still can't decide which I like best.
This little dinghy is the only boat actually owned by the marina at Paris Landing State Park. It's always tied up in front of the marina.
